Summer School

The summer school is conducted in grade 8 at Gränbyskolan and grade 9 at Nannaskolan. The summer school will take place from June 15, 2026, to June 25, 2026. Instruction will take place during full working days during this period.

Job Description

You will teach students attending summer school who have received an F grade in any of the subjects mathematics, Swedish, Swedish as a second language, or English. Students will be taught in smaller groups, and you are responsible for planning the instruction based on the individual needs of each student. There is some collaboration with other teachers, but you are responsible for the instruction in your own group.

In grade 9, you will be responsible for grading after testing. In grade 8, no grading takes place.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching license with qualifications for the later years of primary school or secondary school. To succeed in this role, you need to have experience working in schools or other educational settings.

You are a relationship-building teacher who creates secure connections with students and colleagues. With your pedagogical insight, you understand how students learn in different ways and adapt instruction so that each student has the right conditions to develop. You communicate clearly and ensure that instructions, goals, and expectations are understandable for everyone in the classroom. Last but not least, you are structured, plan, and organize instruction effectively, creating a predictable learning environment.
